Fortalecimiento de habilidades digitales a los docentes mediante módulos formativos gamificados.

Resumen

El estudio analiza la efectividad de la gamificación como estrategia para fortalecer las competencias digitales de docentes de educación secundaria. Se aplicó un diseño cuasi experimental con pretest y postest a un grupo de 22 docentes de la Unidad Educativa Particular Francisco Pizarro Bermeo (Guayaquil, Ecuador). La intervención consistió en tres módulos formativos gamificados orientados a la creación de presentaciones interactivas, uso de herramientas para evaluación y diseño de juegos educativos digitales. Los instrumentos de evaluación incluyeron el Cuestionario Focalizado de Competencias Digitales Docentes (CFCDD), validado mediante el coeficiente V de Aiken (V = 0.98), y una lista de verificación de desempeño. Los resultados mostraron un incremento significativo en las competencias digitales (t = 13.061; p < 0.001; d = 2.78), con una mejora media del 33.6% entre pretest y postest. Las áreas de mayor avance fueron enseñanza-aprendizaje, recursos digitales y evaluación. Se concluye que la gamificación, al integrar retroalimentación inmediata, recompensas simbólicas e interacción social, potencia la motivación y autoeficacia tecnológica docente, contribuyendo al cierre de la brecha digital en contextos educativos con limitaciones tecnológicas.
